Building and Grounds
- To serve the Lord by maintaining and improving a comfortable
and safe facility in which to worship, study, fellowship
together, and serve.
This behind-the-scenes crew gives Christian opportunities
for property maintenance, both inside and out. Painting,
fixing, mowing, weeding, snow removal, building projects,
and housekeeping are just some of the things to be done
around the church. Flexible hours make this an easy fit
for busy schedules during the week.
Office Administration –
To design, develop and deliver creative media applications,
as well as enable, equip and empower Victory Christian
Church with simple and secure solutions, powered by technology
that assist ministries in evangelizing the lost, edifying
the saved, ministering to those in need, and being a conscience
in the community, serving with excellence and integrity.
This is the ministry that creates and assembles almost
everything that you would see in print. It’s about
organization, record keeping, phone communication, helping
a team, graphic design, putting binders together, stuffing
envelopes, helping with web development, data entry, filing,
ordering, purchasing supplies and office equipment, labeling,
and more.
Worship Ministry –
To help others experience God through sincere, expressive
worship, challenging teaching, and intimate communion.
Through Guest Services people are welcomed with a smile,
warm handshake and a friendly greeting even before they
reach the sanctuary doors. Hot and cold beverages are
offered making them feel right at home. The Lord’s
Supper is prepared and offered each week to our body of
believers during Sunday worship. As Jesus Christ taught
His followers to serve others, we do the same. Worship
& Music is prepared by a team of committed Christians
who bring their musical talents, technical and teaching
abilities as an offering, each Sunday morning, to all
who gather together in the name of Jesus.
Children’s Ministry
– To provide a safe and nurturing environment in
which biblical teaching, Christian compassion, and servanthood
are demonstrated and taught, in order for a life-long
relationship with Jesus Christ to begin.
The Nursery is a caring place filled with smiles, love,
a gentle voice and lots of safe toys. There are always
things to color or create while learning about the love
Jesus has for each child. Children’s Junior Church
meets every Sunday during the sermon time so that children
in grades K-3 can learn, at their own level, through crafts,
snacks, and stories, about Jesus and His love for them.
Teen Ministry – To
lead teens to Christ and His lifestyle by impacting them
with relevant and practical biblical teaching that builds
character, cares for them personally and meets their needs.
Connecting teens to the body of Christ, we help them to
worship, grow and serve God through their daily lives.
The Teen Youth Group, along with youth leaders, connect
with other teens to learn about the relevance of Christ-likeness
in our culture today, to have fun, food, and time to share
with each other. They have planned activities throughout
the year, which are listed on the calendar of this web
site as they are scheduled.
Women’s Ministry –
To promote a growing relationship with Jesus Christ for
women, build fellowship with and encourage one another,
and provide opportunities for service and ministry.
Ladies A.M. Bible Study (LAMBS) is for women of all ages,
from any denomination, to help, encourage and inspire
one another to become fully devoted followers of Christ
as they study His Word together. Ladies of Victory (LOV)
is a group of women who meet together to plan, organize
and implement various projects, banquets, fellowship meals,
holiday programs, and activities throughout the year.
Compassion Ministry –
To extend love, comfort and the compassion of Christ,
providing spiritual encouragement and support for those
unable to attend regular services or participate in the
fellowship of the church.
This is accomplished through phone calls, hospital visits,
sending out cards or flowers, providing meals, and sometimes
transportation.
Activities/Recreation Ministry
– To provide an opportunity in which people can be
introduced to Christ through sports, creative activities,
trips, and events, as well as provide a unique opportunity
for discipleship groups.
Planning, coordinating, recruiting and promoting various
activities throughout the year.
